Do I have grubs? What can I do about them?
White grubs feed on grass roots, an infestation can cause wilting of grass in patches, eventually turning brown or dying. The sod may come up in chunks. You may notice holes in the soil where critters have been digging for the grubs. The damage is most visible in Fall or dry spells and possibly Spring.
Note that dead brown areas could have other causes, like pet urine or brown patch fungus.
